East Coast CounterTops, Inc. out of Waxhaw, NC did all the substandard work (pictured below) in my Charlotte, NC home. I have put together this page as a warning to potential customers about this company and the complete disaster of my granite countertop project. They charged me $185 for the old counter removal but it appeared that there was no effort put into minimizing this damage. Also, the granite was poorly templated (measured) and it is obvious from the photos that they "made it fit" which caused a lot of damage around the column. Just look in the photos at the large gap on one side of the column. I put down half the money for this work ($1300) which is a good lesson learned: DO NOT pay up front and certainly NEVER pay in full up front.
